- Your Face in My Hands started out as my memoir – a work in progress – like talking to myself as a child, going back in time, as I remember thinking then ‘what will I be like when I grow up?’ Now I feel her face in my hands, wanting to soothe the pain of those bad memories and to tell the stories to set her free.
